Happy New Year, everyone!

This year I will still be working on all the projects (novels) that I have in various stages of progress.  In my quest for improving my writing I have signed up for a Creative Writing course.  It's an online class so I hope I learn something worthwhile.

I'm sorry that I haven't been on here for a long while.

I have joined the Romance Writers Guild, The Ohio Writers Guild, and the Bexley Writers Group.  I'm trying to be more social.

Still working on the same novels.  Trying to get caught up on things.

Spent a couple of days in the hospital just recently.  Had chest pain and breathing issues.  They kept me for observation and did not find anything heart related.  I'm a congestive heart failure person and that is why they were monitoring me.  All is well.  The pain left, breathing improved so I was released to go home.  I have follow up appointments with my primary care doctor and my cardiologist.

Not much more to say right now except that I will be working on my novels.

A New Year

My first entry in this New Year is this:  I submitted Tehya's Tree to Avon Impulse for consideration.

It is a cold frigid day with about six inches of snow on the ground and its still snowing.  I am hoping that I get a lot done on all of the novels and short stories that I'm working on.

I just can't seem to find the time, or make the time, to keep this more up to date.

Health-wise thiings are pretty good.  They replaced my pacemaker/defibalator and I reacted to all the adhesive they put on me (to hold stitches and bandages-non-latex).  Shortly after that I had chills and fever and went to the ER since my doctor was unavailable.  Diagnosis: cellulitis - oh luck me!

Still unpacking after our move.  Finding all kinds of writing that I started and misplaced.  How I want to get to work on all of those!

I must find some control over my time.  I hope that next year (2016) I can get a good pattern down for all of my projects.

Catch up.

Sorry I have not been on for a while.  We have been apartment hunting and have found one that we will be moving into on August 25/26.  So, we have been cleaning, purging, donating, and packing.  We are merging two households into one so a lot of things are being donated and given away.

Hopefully once the dust clears I can spend more time doing the things I love.  I, also, need to get more social via twitter, blogs, and facebook.

Have a great week!

Catch up.

Been busy apartment hunting.  We have finally found one that works for us.  Currently we are in the process of cleaning, purging, donating, and packing two households worth of "stuff".  Move date is August 25 & 26.

Hope that once we get settled in that I can return to my love of writing and hopefully more socializing: twitter, facebook, and here.

Have a terrific week!

Here it is - Memorial Day, May 25, 2015.

Sorry to have been gone so long, but we have been apartment hunting and its taking a while.  I am also working on a short-story and five novels.

Attended two different writing workshops.  Learn a few new tricks.  LOL!

I have a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder along with tendinitis.  My entire upper right arm became black and blue for no apparent reason.  It's slowly fading away.  The pain medication makes me not want to do anything except sleep.

God! Late October Already!

Things have gone awry with my plans of late.  I lost one of the novels that I was working on due to an unstable program.  Yikes!

Fortunately we have been planning on upgrading the whole shebangs with a new computer with updated operating system and programs.  Not there yet but we are seriously looking.

I did find a copy of that novel that was not in the final I need to bring it up to date.  Currently working on that as time allows.  Out of the house for four days this week and didn't find the time to work on this novel.

Another novel that I had been trying to sell I've decided to revamp.  I don't think my hook was strong enough so I'm trying to strengthen it.  This one gets a little more of my attention because I don't need the computer at this time, but when I do I will input it from scratch.

That's it for now.  Have a good Halloween!

Sunny September Sunday

I have been busy this week with physical therapy, IV, and hearing test (I failed).  Now I am looking for more reasonably priced hearing aids.  Boy, are hearing aids expensive!

I did get a chance to work on my short story.  Plus, I worked on my first reading of "Kajika" and wrote more on "Sons of Ista Siho"

I wanted to print one page of "Alaina's Secret" and ended up printing the whole dang thing!  Ran out of paper and printer ink......aaarrrggghhh!

This coming week I will be just as busy.  Heart failure clinic; physical therapy twice this week; the Y, and my IV.  I will try to get some writing done.

Context weekend is two weekends away.

September Already!

I'm currently having physical therapy two days a week, then my day at the YMCA, and my day in the hospital which is making it hard for me to work on my novels and other projects.

So this weekend I caught up on the bills and other household stats.  This left today open for working on my projects and novels.  I worked on "Alaina's Secret" and "Kajika".  During the week I picked away at a short story that I've been working on.

I found out today that my Twitter account had been hacked.  I hope that we have corrected that.

I will be super busy this week as well, plus the week after that.  I have something going on Monday throufh Friday.  I will be looking forward to the weekends so I can get some things taken care of in my writing world.
